THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF ONTARIO ONLY.
MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO ENTER. THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW.
The contest begins on Monday March 16th, 2015 at approximately 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on Thursday December 31st, 2015 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”).
The contest is open to all legal residents of Ontario who are age of majority or older. Notwithstanding the above, this contest is not open to employees, officers and directors of Whatever Publishing, its respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, its’ advertising and promotional agencies and its representatives, employees of Whatever Publishing, contest suppliers, prize suppliers and judges, members of their immediate families (parents, siblings, spouses) and those with whom they are domiciled. Limit 1 entry per unique email address.
On any day within the “contest period”, any questionnaire completed at fredi.ca/faq will be entered into a “Prize” draw. Your entry must be received within the Contest Period to be valid. All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be entered in the random “Prize” draws throughout the year. Maximum 1 entry per unique email address.
By entering this contest, participants agree to be bound by these contest rules and the decisions of the “Whatever Publishing”.
PRIZES: There will be an undisclosed number of prizes offered throughout 2015 at random times, including (but not limited to):
(1) Tickets to Sports Events – Including Hockey, Basketball, and Soccer.
(2) Gift Cards for various products and services including vacations, restaurants, clothes, Italian shoes, jewelry, security systems, fitness memberships, spa treatments, home décor and more.
Conditions may apply in regards to prizes. All details will be disclosed to the winners.
On various random days to be determined in Vaughan, Ontario, 1 entry per prize will be randomly drawn from among the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The number of prizes available during each prize draw will be dependent on the number of sponsors providing them. There may be one (1) prize per draw, there may be ten (10). There may be one (1) draw per month, or there may be one (1) draw per week. Dates and prizes are still to be determined. Therefore, one (1) entry will be randomly drawn from among the total number of eligible entries for one of the above-listed prizes.
By entering the contest, the selected entrant agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, address, voice, statements about the contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by Whatever Publishing in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the Internet (including social media). Whatever Publishing, its advertising and promotion agencies and the contest judges are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed or illegible entries.
Without limitation, Whatever Publishing, its advertising and promotion agencies and the contest judges will not be liable for any failure of the web site during the contest; for any technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any entry to be received by Whatever Publishing, its advertising and promotion agencies or the contest judges for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site; or any combination of the above. Further, Whatever Publishing, its advertising and promotion agencies and the contest judges will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the contest.
Whatever Publishing reserves the right to withdraw or amend this contest in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Whatever Publishing that interferes with the proper conduct of this contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Whatever Publishing reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law. The decisions of the contest judges with respect to all aspects of this contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal.
In the event of a dispute, online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who is assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. If the identity of an online entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry name change. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid online entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
Whatever Publishing reserves the right to cancel or suspend this contest in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind without prior notice or obligation.
